Terms & Conditions

Data Protection: All personal data will be processed by Décor 1988 Ltd in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal data will be used for administrative purposes only.

Right to cancel – Up to 14 days from receipt of this order confirmation.

Delivery & Installation – Times and dates are estimates and not contractual obligations. Decor will make every endeavour to deliver or install by the time or date given but will not accept or be liable for loss claimed to have arisen directly or indirectly from any delay.

Delays – Decor will make best endeavours to complete the installation promptly but cannot be held responsible for any delays or matters outside its control.

Property Access – The customer agrees to allow the free use of any services supplied to the property for the purposes of carrying out installation. The customer will give access to the premises at all reasonable times.

Damage in transit – Decor will replace any goods damaged in transit. Customers are asked to inspect goods after delivery and notify us of any obvious signs of damage within 48 hours.

Health and Safety – Decor will follow a risk assessment for working within your property. In completing the installation customers need to be aware of Health and Safety risks and potential hazards.

Components Refunds - Please read carefully the components list as any returns of unopened or unfitted products after goods have been delivered will incur a 25% re-stocking charge. Some items are non-refundable. Un-used Tiles cannot be returned or refunded.

Changes after Installation – Decor will install products detailed in the components list and according to the plan supplied. If changes after installation are requested then the customer will incur all associated costs.

Payments – Payment Dates are detailed in our Order Confirmation. For installations we ask for a 25% deposit, with 75% payment on delivery. For Supply only we ask for a 50% deposit with 50% due on collection or delivery.

Credit Card Transactions – We will only take a maximum of £2000 on a credit card as part of the deposit payment only.

Asbestos - If asbestos is identified at the work location all work will cease until it is removed. This removal is solely the responsibility of the customer.

Plasterboard – We have booked a general waste skip which cannot contain plasterboard as it is classed as hazardous material. Any plasterboard waste we will leave on site for customer to dispose of.

Heating System – Decor will not be responsible for existing parts once a heating system has been drained and refilled.

Electrical Work – No Electrical work is included in our installation. We can recommend an approved Electrician who will quote independently

Tiling - The cost of wall and floor tiling does not include (unless specified), for any making good or preparation such as re-plastering walls, filling large holes, leveling floors or window sills. Should such work be required after the old tiles have been removed, we will discuss any additional costs.

General Disclaimer – Decor accepts no responsibility for damage caused by a customer’s misuse of goods.

Warranty - Decor will honour all manufacturers warranties. Our labour is guaranteed for 2 years after installation.
